Instead of organising a property viewing in person to determine the scope of your move, a video survey is a time-saver. It also keeps everyone safe during this time of covid. Especially if your move involves education facilities – from reorganising classrooms, moving to a different building, or relocating and entire department to another part of town. A video survey will ensure minimal activity where students are also needing to stay as safe as possible if they are in attendance.
Unusual moves – and surveying
At Shires we have the fleet size to carry out considerable moves. Also unusual moves. If you have atypical items that require moving, we also have a crane should this be needed. We cover a full service that includes packing, shrink-wrapping, racking (as we did for a large commercial Service Centre where we coordinated and moved all their stock as a result of a business merger).
All of these moving, packing, and storage requirements will be able to be recorded on video should it be preferable in the coming months. We will be able to quote from this and pick up on any further questions if the need arises. You can send your video survey in the same way as you would for a regular domestic house move.
Some other useful information to send with your video survey for moving
- It is very helpful to be provided with the postcodes and addresses for both locations – the one you are moving from, and to.
- Any details about the pick up and delivery properties – are there stairs? Are they flats or houses? Any access restrictions that we should know about? (We have been known to crane-lift items through a top floor window! All safely and professionally carried out, of course!)
- And, of course, when you would like the removal service to take place.
- If, in between moving, you need any storage? We have short-term and long-term 24/7 secure storage facilities.
