I can't thank The Shires Removals enough for making what was supposed to be the most stressful day ever, so easy and straightforward. Darren and Kyle were amazing, they were efficient, friendly and gave us useful advice about our furniture. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again. 10/10

Used this company for a recent house move. I found them to be no nonsense, reliable and professional from booking the removals, receiving the invoice and on removal day itself. House moves are stressful enough, these guys take some of that stress away. Thanks!.

Shires responded quickly to our request for a quotation and visited our home to perform a thorough inspection of the work involved within a few days of our first telephone call. They were friendly and helpful from our first conversation. It was necessary to re-arrange our moving date, but Shires made it very clear that this could be done as long as we knew our deadline for doing so. The team that carried out our job were brilliant! Friendly, careful with our belongings, efficient, and double-checked if in any doubt. All details and procedures were carefully explained to us throughout the process. When the time came to deliver our belongings from storage, Shires were nice again, very accommodating. Some removals firms only perform an evaluation of the job by means of a video call. Shires did a thorough hone visit which is crucial to getting the job right. Nothing was damaged in transit. Everything was delivered with care. The price for the work was very fair considering we were moving a decent distance. I would have complete confidence in using Shires again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a move. The office team are ALL very helpful and well informed. The removals team that we met were total diamonds. Keep them supplied in tea and a bacon butty and they will look after you! Thanks a million guys and girls.

The removal team was extremely professional and the lorry used was more than adequate. While they were not the cheapest, the service quality was worth the extra cost as I did not have to worry about how long it would take to pack as a preassessment was done of what was to be moved.

We would recommend Shires Removals for their outstanding service. They moved us out of our 4 storey house and put our contents in storage. Nothing was too much trouble for Danny and his team. We expected to use their storage facility for 2-3 months, but due to our original house purchase falling through, this became 15 months. Luckily, the cost of their storage was cheaper than their competitors’ quotes. All of our possessions arrived safely, without a single item damaged. Towels & bedding etc were fresh and dry and didn’t even need washing on arrival. They only charged a small & very reasonable extra amount for the extra mileage to our different house purchase. Danny was also on the lorry that delivered to us (this time with Dave) and again they were really friendly, hard working & helpful. They were very professional, covering all our new carpets before entering the house. Overall 5 star service.
